Amelia Noble

Amelia Noble studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art (1992–1995) and at the Royal College of Art (1995–1997).
After 11 years as Partner and Director of Kerr|Noble (with Frith Kerr), one of London’s leading, independently owned design companies, whose design work for Channel 4, The Design Museum, Phaidon and Liberty is internationally well documented, Amelia Noble set up her own studio ‘Amelia Noble & Partners’ in London, and works as a designer and creative consultant.
Amelia works across all media, creating designs for books, brochures, posters, typefaces and signage to working on branding and identities for products, exhibitions and websites for a range of corporate and cultural clients. Clients include: Arts Council, Barbican Art Gallery, Caruso St John Architects, Charities Advisory Trust, David Chipperfield Architects, Modern Art Oxford, Selfridges, Shakespeare’s Globe, Serpentine Gallery, Tate Modern & Tate Britain, Heatherwick Studio, Victoria & Albert Museum and Oglivy & Mather NY.
Recent and current projects include the brand identity, marketing and trophy for Grafik magazine’s new Grafik Design Awards scheme and brand development for Dhillon Hotels’ Coaching Inn’s designed by Ilse Crawford.
Amelia is featured in the Independent on Sunday’s ‘Top Ten Graphic Designers in the UK’ in 2002, the Guardian’s ‘UK Top Fifty Designers’ in 2007. ‘Britain has continued to produce—and educate—some of the world’s leading designers: Kerr|Noble in graphic design…’ Alice Rawsthorn, International Herald Tribune.

Education & Lectures
Amelia has lectured and/or been a visiting lecturer at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, London; Camberwell College of Art & Design, London; St. Bride Library, London; D&AD Sharpener London; Royal College of Art, London; Oxford University and PechaKucha Night in Tokyo. She has been a judge for D&AD, Howard Smith Paper Awards and Penguin and is currently the External Examiner for the new Kingston University graphics & illustration degree at Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.
